Following Congress' rejection of the 37.5-hour working week, experts and companies are wondering what will happen now with the reduction in working hours.
Enrique Ceca, a partner in the employment law department, commented in Expansión that ‘in order to proceed with the modification of the working week, the bill already drafted by the Government amending Article 34 of the Workers' Statute must be approved’.
If there is one thing that concerns companies, it is the organisation of work in the event of a reduction in working hours.
