Our expert highlights the importance of data centers in the day-to-day running of businesses and society in general: "In some jurisdictions, they are considered critical infrastructure centers. Regarding the rise of data centers in Spain, she comments, from a legal standpoint: “These are centers that are impacted by many regulations, and they will need to comply with a large number of regulations that affect them.” And from a business standpoint, she notes: “Investment in Spain is increasing, with estimated investment figures already reaching 60 billion euros, and many companies are positioning themselves in this business.”
