On the occasion of the presentation of the study ‘Global Talent Trends 2024’, conducted by Mercer, the fifth session of Talento Abogacía was held, an event that brings together human resources managers from Spain's leading law firms. María López-Olivares, director of the People and Talent department, participated in the event to discuss the challenges of retaining talent in law firms, as reported by Capital Humano, a partner of the meeting.
Our director commented on how planning and effective communication are key to achieving flexibility: ‘once the firm's strategy for the coming years has been outlined, we try to identify the gaps between future needs and available resources’.
With regard to attracting and retaining talent in law firms, she believes that it is ‘important to adapt to the individual needs of employees, while also focusing on adapting them to the changing needs of the group.’
