Almudena Medina is an expert in Tax Law, having participated in many national and international planning and restructuring of individual and corporate assets, collaborating with and coordinating multidisciplinary teams of various nationalities.
Graduate in Law from Carlos III of Madrid and holds a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from Universidad de Antonio de Nebrija, Almudena completed her tax legal training in international educational institutions: Universiteit van Amsterdam (NL) and Lone Star College (Texas, USA).
After over 10 years in the tax department of Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira, Almudena moved to Houston (Texas, USA) where she practiced law after having received training in American Tax Law.
She is authorized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to fill out and submit federal tax returns in the United States. She actively collaborates with the American Club of Madrid and is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP).
She coordinated the preparation of the “Tax Handbook to invest in Ceuta”, participated in the report on Spanish taxation of the Bureau of National Affairs (BNA) and in the article “Inmogolf. Transfers of securities which conceal transfers of immovable assets. Court of Justice” published in the magazine Highlights & Insights on European Taxation.
