CECA MAGÁN Abogados has advised on the approval of the restructuring plan of the companies Sulayr Global Service and Nivaplast Reciclados, as reported today in Expansión.
It has taken place under the new insolvency legislation and marks a new success in the Spanish market of preventive restructurings. It is the first joint restructuring plan approved in the province of Granada.
With this plan, Sulayr Global Service restructures its debt and strengthens its position as a leader in the PET thermoformed container recycling sector in Europe. The approval is considered a milestone in the pre-bankruptcy field, as it will serve as a guide for other companies to use a negotiating path with legal guarantees with their creditors to solve situations of financial difficulties.
