LITIGATION AND ARBITRATION
Javier González has a solid background in arbitration and mediation, having studied Mediation at the Higher Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE) and at the Ciarb, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (European Branch). He is an accredited mediator and founder of the European Mediation Centre (CEMED), of the European Arbitration Association (AEADE) and mediator of the Illustrious Bar Association of Madrid.
He has a degree in Business Law from the Universidad San Pablo C.E.U, Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a degree in Business Studies and Community Law.
After passing through offices such as Cuatrecasas, Garrigues or Écija, he founded his own firm, L&E Abogados, which would eventually be integrated into Irwin Mitchell, where Javier headed the Madrid Office.
He is also the arbitrator of the Spanish Court of Arbitration, the European Arbitration Association (AEADE), the International Court of Arbitration and e-Iure Mediation and the Illustrious Bar Association of Madrid. He is also a member of the Spanish Arbitration Club, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and ISMS FORUM, through the recognition of his work in the areas of Data Protection and Electronic Commerce.
