LITIGATION AND ARBITRATION
Javier González Espadas is a graduate in Law with a specialization in Corporate Law from Universidad San Pablo C.E.U., Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Javier also holds a diploma in Business and Community Law.
After practicing at law firms such as Cuatrecasas, Garrigues or Écija, he founded his own firm, I&E Abogados, which merged with Irwin Mitchell, where Javier was the head of the firm’s office in Madrid.
He has a solid training in arbitration and mediation, as he received training in Mediation at the Higher Institute of Law and Economy (ISDE) and at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (European Branch). He is a certified mediator and founder of the European Center for Mediation (CEMED), the European Association of Arbitration (AEADE) and mediator of the Honorable Bar Association of Madrid.
Moreover, Javier is an arbitrator for the Spanish Court of Arbitration, the European Association of Arbitration (AEADE) , the International Court of Arbitration and Mediation e-Iure and the Honorable Bar Association of Madrid. He is also a member of the Spanish Club of Arbitration, of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and of the ISMS FORUM, due to the recognition earned by his work in Data Protection and e-Commerce.
