Partner of Litigation, Arbitration and Mediation. Adrián has joined Ceca Magán after a period in PwC Tax and Legal Services, where he was a partner of the Procedural and Arbitration department at the office in Madrid, leading the economic criminal and bankruptcy legal practice. In over 25 years of profesional practice, he has become a reference in Procedural Law, and he has led major civil, commercial and criminal cases.

Within the area of Bankruptcy Law, and in coordination with Business Recovery Services, Adrián has taken a leading role in providing legal assistance for pre-bankruptcy refinancing arrangements, and for the preparation and follow-up of insolvency proceedings and for the defense of company directors. He is very experienced in cross-border insolvency proceedings and in bankruptcy cases involving listed companies. Within the area of Criminal Economic Law, he has handled many cases involving fraud, misappropriation, counterfeit, corporate offenses, insolvency offenses, tax crimes and money laundering. He has also promoted the implementation of criminal compliance or corporate defense programs in companies after the latest reforms of the Criminal Code.

Adrián has been a lecturer in the Master’s Degree in Labor Advice at IE Business School, and taught the Practicum course at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE). He is the autor of many legal articles on doctrine and he is an active speaker collaborating with several prestigious institutions within the legal industry.
