Guillermo is a Professor of Labor Law and Social Security at the Rey Juan Carlos University (Madrid). Graduate and Doctor of Law from the University of Navarre, he has devoted most of his career as a Professor of Labour Law and Social Security at the Universities of Navarre (1991-2001) and Rey Juan Carlos (2001-present).
Alongside his outstanding scientific work, he has served as a Deputy judge in the Social Chamber of the High Court of Justice of La Rioja (September 2007 to August 2015). He is currently Manager of the Spanish Association of Labour Law and Social Security and member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Association of Health and Social Security.
Author of numerous scientific papers and regular speaker in many different academic and professional fields (both national and international), has received (in authorship or co-authorship) Prizes as outstanding as those listed below: Premio Defensa 2009, XII Premio Fundación Aequitas 2013, III Premio Reina María Cristina 2015 or Premio Fundación Alares 2018.
