GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE CECA MAGÁN ABOGADOS, S.L. WEBSITE

Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions regulate the use (including mere access) of the webpages comprising the website of Ceca Magán Abogados, S.L. (“CECA MAGÁN”), including the contents and services made available thereupon (the “Site CECA MAGÁN ABOGADOS”). All persons who access the Site CECA MAGÁN (“User”) accept to subject themselves to the General Terms and Conditions in force at any time at which they access the Site CECA MAGÁN.

The contents and services that CECA MAGÁN makes available to the User at the Site CECA MAGÁN (respectively, the “Contents” and the “Services”) may likewise be regulated by special conditions that, in the event of a dispute, shall prevail over the General Terms and Conditions (the “Special Conditions”). The User further subjects himself, each time he uses the respective Contents or Service, to its respective applicable Special Conditions.

Accordingly, the User must carefully read the General Terms and Conditions each time he decides to use the Site CECA MAGÁN as well as, if applicable, the respective Special Conditions each time he decides to use the Contents or Service in question.

At any rate, CECA MAGÁN reserves the right to modify, at any time and without the need for prior notice, the appearance and configuration of the CECA MAGÁN Site as well as these General Terms and Conditions or the respective Special Conditions.

USE OF CECA MAGÁN SITE

The CECA MAGÁN Site does not constitute a source of advice or a means for establishing a professional relationship, or one of any other kind, between client and attorney.

Use

Unless otherwise stated in the Special Conditions, the use of the CECA MAGÁN Site shall be free, notwithstanding the connection via the corresponding  telecommunications network for the User to have access.

The User is aware and voluntary and expressly accepts that the use of the CECA MAGÁN Site is carried out at all times under his sole and exclusive liability.

In using the CECA MAGÁN Site, the User undertakes to not exhibit any behavior that might damage the image, interests and rights of CECA MAGÁN or third parties or that might damage, disable or overload the CECA MAGÁN Site, or that might impede, in any manner, the normal use of the CECA MAGÁN Site.

CECA MAGÁN adopts reasonably adequate security measures to detect the existence of viruses. Nevertheless, the User must be aware that the security measures of computer systems on Internet are not entirely reliable and that, therefore, CECA MAGÁN cannot guarantee the non-existence of viruses or other elements that may cause alterations in the User’s computer systems (software or hardware) or in his electronic documents and files contained therein.

Contents

The contents of the CECA MAGÁN Site are made available to the User by CECA MAGÁN with information from its own and third-party sources.

CECA MAGÁN strives to provide Contents of the best possible quality that are  reasonably updated, but it does not guarantee the usefulness, exactness, exhaustiveness, pertinence and/or currentness of the Contents.

The inclusion on the CECA MAGÁN Site in no way constitutes the provision of legal advice. The User acknowledges that, insofar as the application of law in specific cases is not automatic, but rather it may vary according to diverse circumstances, the information contained in the Contents is insufficient for decision making of any nature. Therefore, the information included in the Contents may not be considered as an alternative to legal advice, and CECA MAGÁN discourages the User from making decisions based on the information contained in the Contents without obtaining adequate professional advice.

Intellectual and industrial property rights

By means of these General Terms and Conditions, no intellectual or industrial property of the CECA MAGÁN or any of its components is transferred. The User is expressly prohibited from reproducing, transforming, distributing, publicly communicating, making available, extracting, reusing, forwarding or using any of them in any way by any means or procedure except in those cases in which it is legally permitted or authorized by the bearer of the corresponding rights.

The User may view and obtain a temporary private copy of the Contents for his exclusive personal and private use on his computer systems (software and hardware) provided it is not with the purpose of performing activities of a commercial or professional nature. The User must refrain from obtaining or attempting to obtain the Contents by means or procedures other than those, in each case, made available to him or indicated to that end or those regularly used on Internet (provided that they do not entail a risk of damage or disabling the CECA MAGÁN Site). The user must at all times respect all intellectual and industrial property rights to the CECA MAGÁN Site, owned by CECA MAGÁN or third parties.

Hyperlinks and Linked Sites

The User and, in general, any artificial person or corporate entity who proposes to establish a hyperlink from his website to the Ceca MAGÁN Site (the “Hyperlink”) must obtain prior written authorization from CECA MAGÁN.

The establishment of a Hyperlink does not imply, under any circumstances, the existence of relations between CECA MAGÁN  and the owner of the site or webpage upon which the Hyperlink is established, or the  acceptance or approval by CECA MAGÁN of its contents or services.

In any event, CECA MAGÁN reserves the right to prohibit or disable, at any time, any hyperlink to the CECA MAGÁN Site, especially under the assumptions of illicit activity or contents of the website upon which the hyperlink is included.

Linked Sites

The CECA MAGÁN Site provides the User, solely for searching for and accessing the information, contents and services available on Internet, hyperlinks or technical link devices (for instance links or buttons) that allow the User to access Internet sites or portals belonging to or managed by third parties (the “Linked Sites”).

CECA MAGÁN neither offers nor sells, itself or through third parties, the information, contents and services available on the Linked Sites, nor does it approve, supervise or control in any way the contents and services and any material of any nature existing thereupon, the User thereby exclusively assuming all liability in navigating through them.
